Concrete Pumping Holdings (“CPH”) is a public company (“BBCP”) and is the leading provider of concrete pumping services and concrete waste management services in the United States (“U.S.”) and the United Kingdom (“U.K.”), primarily operating under the only established, national concrete pumping brands in both geographies – Brundage-Bone Concrete Pumping, Inc. (“Brundage-Bone”) for concrete pumping in the U.S., Camfaud Group Limited (“Camfaud”) in the U.K., and Eco-Pan, Inc. (“Eco-Pan”) for waste management services in both the U.S. and U.K. The Brundage-Bone business was founded in 1983 in Denver, Colorado. Since then, the Company has expanded across the U.S. and U.K. through more than 60 acquisitions. Eco-Pan was founded in 1999 and Camfaud was acquired in 2016.

Location:

Located about 10 minutes north of downtown Denver. This position is 100% in office, with remote flexibility available on an exception basis.

Position Overview:

The Accounting Manager leads a team of several accounting professionals and oversees the Company's day-to-day accounting operations. They are responsible for accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Accounting and combines strong people leadership with deep operational accounting expertise. The ideal candidate must have supervisory experience, GL close experience, and is a CPA. Public accounting experience is preferred. The role helps to oversee the monthly close process and will assist with SEC reporting responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close activities.
• Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, financial statements and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Manage and/or lead general ledger accounting functions.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Make recommendations for improvements in accounting processes and internal controls after assessing current practices and procedures.
• Provide requested documents and responses to external auditors for financial audit activities.
• Understand and maintain internal controls and guidelines.
• Gain direct visibility into and cross-train with the SEC reporting team, supporting technical accounting research and external reporting deliverables.
• Support software enhancements or implementations.
• Develop and mentor accounting staff.
• Perform analysis on ad hoc projects as needed.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 5-7 years accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA or equivalent preferred
• CPA certification required
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Sage ERP experience preferred
• 3 years of progressive accounting experience in a management or supervisory role
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
• Strong leadership skills with dedication to driving and achieving results.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
