What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep Cook/ line support position at Brunch & soul?
Brunch & Soul is looking for a dependable, hardworking Prep & Line Support team member to assist with daily kitchen operations. This is a support position focused on helping the kitchen stay prepared, stocked, clean, and organized throughout service.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with daily food prep
- Support the line during busy and rush periods
- Cup and portion sides and other prepared items
- Stock and restock line stations
- Assist cooks and the Lead Cook as needed
- Help with plating, assembling, and packaging orders
- Keep prep and work areas clean and organized
- Properly label, date, rotate, and store food
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Help with opening and closing kitchen duties
- Step in wherever additional kitchen support is needed

Someone who is reliable, works well with others, follows directions, stays productive, and can move with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment. You should be willing to learn, stay organized, and help wherever needed to keep service running smoothly.
Restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
