Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including peeling vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen manager promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
