What You’ll Do
As a General Manager or Assistant Manager, you will be part of the leadership team driving your restaurant’s success. Depending on your level of experience, your responsibilities may include:
Shared Core Duties (Both GM & AM):
- Lead, coach, and motivate employees — including recruiting, training, and performance management.
- Ensure operations meet Arby’s standards for quality, service, cleanliness, and safety.
- Manage labor and food costs, inventory, and cash controls.
- Implement action plans and follow through on operational goals.
- Build strong customer relationships and represent Arby’s in the community.
- Foster a respectful, engaging, and accountable workplace culture.
Assistant Manager Focus:
- Support the GM in scheduling, ordering, and team development.
- Act as shift lead, directing Team Members during service.
- Learn financial and operational systems to prepare for future leadership roles.
General Manager Focus:
- Take full ownership of P&L, forecasting, and scheduling.
- Lead and develop the management team to achieve sales and profitability goals.
- Drive community engagement and local marketing initiatives.
- Provide timely daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of leadership experience in restaurant or retail.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coach, hold others accountable, and foster team development.
- A hands-on leader who isn’t afraid to jump in and help the team.
- Desire to grow within Arby’s — whether starting as an AM or leading as a GM.
Pay & Benefits
- Competitive salary range:
- Assistant Manager: $36,500 – $48,000 (based on experience)
- General Manager: $48,000 – $60,000 (based on experience)
