will be based in Madison, WI. This position will be responsible for
mechanical, optical and/or electrical component assembling tasks for
Optical Microscopes for life science imaging applications. This position
will work closely with final system QA/QC and manufacturing engineering
teams to successfully deliver quality products and subassemblies.
Responsibilities \* Assemble and manufacture instrumentation,
subassemblies, and precision components. \* Test assemblies and
sub-systems by running electrical/mechanical tests on devices to ensure
standards are achieved \* Execute written SOPs and work instructions \*
Modify and fabricate parts using small hand tools and under microscope
(up to 40x magnification). \* Debug assemblies or systems in cooperation
with production team or engineering \* Work with manufacturing
engineering to alter/improve assembly instructions \* Assist other
departments as needed and as directed by the supervisor. \* Ensure
timely completion of assignments while meeting or exceeding quality
standards. \* Accurately document work performed and maintain production
records. \* Maintain a clean work environment Qualifications \*
