We are looking for a detail-oriented Associate Product Engineer to support the execution of product development programs for retail fixture and merchandising systems.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams across the US, China, and Mexico to ensure technical accuracy, documentation integrity, and smooth project execution throughout the product development lifecycle.
🔹 What you'll do
Product Development & Execution
- Conduct in-store measurements and field verification
- Support prototype tracking, testing, and validation
- Assist in design brief preparation and cross-team alignment
- Support field engineering activities, including site measurements, sample installations, and on-site coordination with sales teams to support customer-facing projects
- Support preparation and verification of BOM
- Maintain technical documentation and version control
- Review drawings and clarify technical details with suppliers
- Coordinate structural and load testing
- Support UL certification and regulatory documentation
- Assist in quality improvement and risk mitigation efforts
- Follow up on prototype builds and testing
- Coordinate with suppliers across regions (US, China, Mexico)
- Collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, Production, and Sales teams
- Track project timelines and milestones
- Prepare internal status updates and reports
- 1–3 years of experience in product engineering, mechanical design, or related fields
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (metal fabrication, injection molding preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
