The Orthodontic Assistant’s primary focus is to perform different orthodontic procedures with the doctor which includes prepping the patients, assisting the Orthodontist, and closing all chairside procedures, all while creating a comfortable environment for the patient. The Orthodontic Assistant will be responsible for knowing our policies and procedures to provide patients and families with orthodontic care instructions and dental health education.
- Prepare patients for procedures, assist Orthodontist during procedures and finish patient’s appointment.
- Be prepared for each procedure by reviewing patient notes to know what procedures will be done and what instruments will be needed.
- Provide patient and families with proper orthodontic care instructions, dental health education and diet recommendations.
- Help patient and parent feel comfortable at each visit.
- Communicate patient’s treatment needs to appropriate clinic staff.
Position Details:
- Monday - Friday
- Monday-Thursdays 7:45AM - 5:00PM, Fridays 8:00AM - 12:00PM
