Bruce Community Living Center is looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our growing team!

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist in directing, overseeing, and evaluating all nursing personnel (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, etc.)
- Support staffing procedures and scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage
- Help set departmental goals and support long-term planning for nursing services
- Assist with organizing and coordinating admissions, nursing care, and patient care procedures
- Support the development and enforcement of policies to ensure compliance and high-quality care standards
- Monitor budgets and assist with managing departmental expenditures
- Identify and help resolve issues or deficiencies in operations and patient care
- Maintain and oversee accurate record-keeping procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Report to upper management and support leadership initiatives

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing required
- Proven experience in a leadership role such as Assistant Director of Nursing or similar
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and patient care practices
- Understanding of budgeting and financial reporting
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and stress management abilities
- CPR certification required
- Degree in Nursing (Associate’s or higher) required
