We are seeking a motivated and skilled Journeyman/Journeywoman Carpenter or Apprentice Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install various structural components using hand tools and power tools
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, siding, door hanging, cabinet installation, and roofing tasks with precision
- Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and plastering as required for different projects
- Fabricate custom fixtures or components in the shop or on-site to meet project specifications
- Conduct restoration work including water damage remediation, mold cleanup, stucco repair, and general building repairs
- Support heavy lifting and material handling to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation
- Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and CNC machinery for fabrication tasks
- Experience with framing carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall installation (including plastering), flooring installation, tile laying, and roofing techniques
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC components, and water damage restoration processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of construction work
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and industry standards for restoration projects
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs
