Technician Responsibilities:
· Perform work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
· Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform appropriate repairs
· Complete quality inspections of assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
· Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair
· Document work performed on repair order
· Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts
· Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer
· Maintain an organized shop area
Qualifications
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with hand and power tools
- Skilled in vehicle maintenance and powertrain systems
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and alignment procedures
- Excellent customer service skills to enhance client interactions
