Essential duties of the Maintenance Technician:
* Make repairs to machines as needed with emphasis on hydraulic presses
* Recommend modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions or to improve safety, quality, or
equipment operating parameters
* Perform repairs and troubleshoot on machinery and repair of hydraulic and other systems
* Assist in repairing malfunctions in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
* Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department,
or work crew
* Follow all Company policies, including but not limited to all related safety policies.
Requirements for the Maintenance Technician:
* Experience with large hydraulic systems, pump diagnosis, cylinder rebuilds, pump repairs, valve tuning
as well as control functions and troubleshooting
* 2 years’ experience in a maintenance manufacturing setting is a must
* Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts
* Training and experience in use of PLC's is a plus
* Welding and fabrication skills are a plus
* Read and interpret electrical drawings is a plus
* Strong communication skills are a must
* Analyze and resolve work problems and assists other technicians as needed
* Must be willing to participate in all required job and or employment related trainings. This includes but
is not limited to all safety and technical or role or tool specific trainings.
Salary : $19 - $30
