Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Afternoon Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee
maintenance operations during our second shift. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and
safety of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the metals industry. Experience with
aluminum extrusion equipment, or hydraulic press systems, is a significant plus.

Essential Duties Of The Maintenance Manager
Requirements For The Maintenance Manager
This position requires the individual to work in a factory/manufacturing environment. The temperatures can
fluctuate from hot to cold and noise level is high. An individual in this role will be able to walk, bend, stoop,
twist, turn and climb frequently. With proper safety equipment, an individual in this role may work above
ground level (off the ground) for long periods of time. An individual in this role will need to be aware of
movement and/or noises around them at all times. An individual in this role must move 50lbs frequently and up
to 75lbs occasionally. An individual in this role will be an effective communicator verbally and in writing, and
this role requires individuals to read and follow written procedures in English.

Essential Duties Of The Maintenance Manager
- Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities during the afternoon shift.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring timely and effective completion of work orders and
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements to reduce downtime and increase
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate Work Order records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and parts
- Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance technical skills and promote a culture of safety and
Requirements For The Maintenance Manager
- Minimum of 7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience required.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, with emphasis on metals manufacturing.
- Experience with automated manufacturing and PLCs preferred.
- Proficient in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
