Shifts Available:
- Days: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (overtime up to 6:00 PM as needed)
- Midnights: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Essential duties of the Paint Utility Worker:
Physical requirements:
This position requires the individual to work in a factory/manufacturing environment. The temperatures
can fluctuate from hot to cold and the noise level is high. An individual in this role will be able to walk,
bend, stoop, twist, turn, climb, and push/pull frequently. An individual in this role will need to be always
aware of movement and/or noises around them. An individual in this role must move 25lbs frequently
and up to 50lbs occasionally. An individual in this role will remain stationary and/or move about the
factory as needed per essential duties of the position. An individual in this role will be an effective
communicator verbally and in writing, and this role requires individuals to read and follow written
procedures. (English/Spanish instructions will be made available as needed)

Essential duties of the Paint Utility Worker:
- Communicate with previous shift and immediate shift on pertinent safety/quality information.
- Communicate with Supervisor and Group Leader on any delays or issues that may arise.
- Pushing and pulling steel racks into position.
- Preparing steel racks for loading material.
- Lifting and transferring metal on and off racks/tables.
- Hooking material on the paint line and unhooking material to be transferred to racks.
- Rotate positions as directed to avoid fatigue.
- Visually inspect material for defects.
- Determine proper hooks and stems before extrusions are hung on paint line.
- Learn and follow proper stacking and placements of extrusions.
- Keep work area clean throughout the shift.
- Willing to cross-train on different positions in the Paint Department.
- Willing to work 10 hour shifts as needed.
- Willing to work weekends when scheduled, this is mandatory.
- Willing to work in other departments as a utility worker when needed.
- Maintain good attendance and be at your station on time.
- Work at a consistent face pace to keep up with the paint line.
- Must be 18 years of age to work in the plant.
- Must have ability to read and understand basic instructions in English.
- Must have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Must be willing to participate in all required job and or employment related trainings. This
