What are the responsibilities and job description for the Testing Technician position at BRP?
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the Testing team and reporting to the testing supervisor, your primary mandate will be to provide technical support to the team of project developers and test pilots.
- Support all daily activities related to the proper conduct of physical tests;
- Maintain a close link between the physical testing team and the engineering;
- Develop effective communication tools to share test results;
- Provide recommendations following the analysis of test results;
- Develop security test plans and execute them as needed in collaboration with our various internal customers;
- Perform and support dynamic tests during specific tests;
- Collaborate with the engineering, calibration, marketing, quality assurance and certification teams;
- Collaborate with the physical test engineer for data acquisition.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Three (3) years of relevant experience on recreational vehicles
- Associates degree is a plus
- Accredited vocational school training course certificate in a related field a plus
- Proficient computer skills
- Possess an understanding and ability to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software principles with each other
- You demonstrate a strong interest in recreational & performance vehicles
- Physically able to operate recreational vehicles
- You are skilled at working in a multidisciplinary environment
