Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and results-driven Sales Manager to oversee cemetery sales operations, lead a small team, and ensure outstanding service to the families we serve. This supervisory role includes managing the sales process, coaching team members, and supervising grounds crew and office staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sales of cemetery plots, merchandise, and services (pre-need and at-need)
- Supervise and mentor team members (where applicable)
- Provide compassionate customer support to families
- Manage budgets, scheduling, and overtime approvals
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines
- Sales experience in a quota-based environment
- Supervisory or leadership experience
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Moderate to advanced tech skills: email, texting, Excel/Google Sheets, Docs, CRM tools, cloud storage
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience in cemetery, funeral, or pre-need sales
