Nature of Work:
The position
is in a quarry environment, and the applicant must possess the ability to work
in all types of weather conditions. Management activities may
include but are not limited to the following: production operations, parts, and
components management, purchasing, contract management, capital project
management, budgeting, customer service and quality assurance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily quarry, asphalt,
and crushing operations.
- Direct plant
operations encompassing production, maintenance, quality, and logistics to
ensure objectives are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Must
have excellent understanding of crushing operations and maintenance
- Coordinate blasting schedule and safety
procedures.
- Identify plant problem areas and recommend
solutions.
- Ordering and keeping inventory of all
parts.
- Ensure
compliance with all Local, State, and Federal regulations and permits.
- Work with sales
team to set and execute the production schedule to meet commercial
demands.
- Ensure that
production targets are met while maintaining high levels of quality.
- Working
knowledge and understanding of MSHA regulations and possess a strong
personal commitment to safety.
- Solid
understanding of aggregate processing and equipment.
- Maintain Brox Industries safety goal of ZERO
ACCIDENTS
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude
and knowledge, while performing hands-on troubleshooting techniques
- Must
have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Computer
skills are required.
- Maintain
a valid driver’s license.
