What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retired Secondary School Coaches - Part-time - (Coaching Supplemental Duty Pay) 2025-2026 position at BROWNSVILLE ISD?
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree;
- Retired TRS State of Texas School Coach.
- Texas Teacher Certified
- General knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures;
- Knowledge of University Interscholastic league (UIL) rules.
The role of Retired Coaches is to provide instruction and coach students to develop the skill and ability to excel in the sport assigned. They are also responsible for contributing to the educational program as a whole and to the growth of each student. The Retired Coach may be a Head Coach in the sports of Golf, Tennis/Team Tennis, Swimming, Cross Country and Track & Field. The Retired Coach may be an Assistant Coach in all other sports not listed previously.
