In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sautéed dishes with precision and creativity, ensuring high-quality food production that delights our guests. Your expertise in fine dining and food safety will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook sautéed dishes according to established recipes, presentation standards, and menu specifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in various cooking techniques including poaching, braising, grilling, and food preparation methods.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal functionality during food production.
• Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with team members on menu planning, ingredient prep, and meal assembly to ensure timely service.
• Monitor portion control and presentation standards to uphold the restaurant’s quality expectations.
• Follow recipe adherence closely while maintaining consistency in taste, texture, and appearance.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience as a saute cook or in a similar culinary role within a high-volume or fine dining setting.
• Strong knife skills with the ability to execute precise cuts and food handling techniques.
• Extensive knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures.
• Proven experience with food industry standards including food production, food handling, and operating kitchen equipment. Plate design and weekly feature creation.
• Familiarity with dietary department requirements and menu planning for diverse dietary needs.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
