Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Mechanic to join our team near Staunton, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our fleet of equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
This role requires hands-on experience with various automotive systems and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of equipment. Equipment types include: pickup trucks, dump trucks, forklifts, construction equipment, etc.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Repair or replace damaged or worn parts.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with a Clean Driving Record is a must
- Proven experience in automotive service and repair.
- Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including air brake systems and diesel engines.
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
