Responsibilities:
- Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
- Implement and modify treatment plans to improve residents' functional abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living skills
- Provide support and guidance to residents in activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and report on residents' progress and safety, ensuring that they receive the highest level of care and support
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the resident's physical, emotional, and social needs
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident treatment and progress
Requirements:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed
