Brown’s Automotive Experts is a locally owned, multi-location automotive repair business serving Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. We’re now seeking an Entry-Level Accounting & Administrative Assistant who’s eager to learn, highly detail-oriented, and ready to grow with a stable, family-owned company.
Position Summary
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to begin or build their career in accounting and administration. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, and comfortable working with numbers and computers. You’ll receive hands-on training and ongoing support from our experienced team.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable (posting invoices, reconciling, and preparing deposits)
- Enter and organize financial data in QuickBooks Online
- Help prepare simple financial and sales reports
- Support office and supply management for multiple locations
- Conduct weekly visits to stores to pick up paperwork (company vehicle provided if eligible)
- Assist with filing, recordkeeping, and administrative projects
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working on a computer for long periods of time
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic familiarity with Excel and data entry (QuickBooks experience is a plus but not required)
- Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Valid driver’s license required
Working Conditions
- Full-time, office-based role with extended screen time
- Occasional lifting of up to 45 lbs (supplies, paperwork, boxes)
- Weekly driving between locations
