Who are we looking for?
A professional seeking full time work with our North Charleston office’s landlord-tenant team.
Prior experience (1-3 years) working in a law firm, performing legal secretarial and clerical tasks such as opening and closing files, answering telephones, electronic communications, and facilitating legal correspondence.
Exemplary organizational, time management, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills in addition to a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to maintain direct client contact and comfortably function independently and/or in group settings.
Your Duties and Responsibilities
We will keep your days (but not your nights, evenings, or weekends) busy and challenging, with the goal of providing you the opportunity to grow along with our firm. Duties and responsibilities may include:
General assistance of firm staff with administrative tasks, as needed.
Office runner (e.g., court / document delivery and tasks involving third-party communications) – a valid driver’s license is required.
Travel to marketing / firm events – occasional overnight travel may be requested.
Drafting legal documents.
Maintaining communications with clients.
