What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Construction Technician position at Brownfields Environmental Management?
Responsibilities
- Field work responsibilities may include UST removals, environmental drilling (soil borings and groundwater monitoring well installation), soil and groundwater sampling, storm water sampling, waste disposal, system O&M, etc.
- Maintain a safe work environment at all times. Adhere to Company and Client’s SOPs and policies related to site health and safety.
Qualifications
- Previous environmental experience preferred.
- UST removal and demolition experience a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility for overnight travel and work outside normal work hours based on client project requirements.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER training preferred, but not required.
- Must pass drug test, physical, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record.
- Willing to work in inclement weather conditions.
