Browncroft Budz is looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Budtender / Assistant Manager to help deliver an exceptional dispensary experience. If you're passionate about cannabis, enjoy helping people, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Provide outstanding customer service and personalized product recommendations.
- Educate customers on cannabis products, strains, cannabinoids, consumption methods, and responsible use.
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain compliance with all New York State cannabis regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory management, receiving shipments, and merchandising.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor.
- Support daily store operations and supervise team members when management is unavailable.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Help coach, train, and motivate staff while promoting a positive team culture.
What We're Looking For
- Retail or customer service experience (cannabis experience preferred but not required).
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Must meet all New York State requirements to work in a licensed cannabis dispensary.
