Location: Monroe, GA
Schedule: Friday 6–10 PM * Saturday & Sunday 12–10 PM
Type: Part-Time or Full-Time Weekend Track
About the Role
Brown Veterinary Services is expanding our Weekend Urgent Care Team! We’re looking for a confident, skilled veterinarian to handle walk-ins and emergency cases during our dedicated weekend hours. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and want to make an impact without late-night on-call duties, this is the perfect fit.
You’ll work with an experienced support staff and have access to digital X-ray, ultrasound, K-Laser, in-house lab, and a fully equipped surgical suite. We’re proud to serve dogs, cats, goats, small ruminants, pigs, exotics, and backyard poultry — variety guaranteed!
What You’ll Do
- Manage urgent and emergency cases presented during weekend hours
- Perform surgical procedures (soft tissue, wound repair, C-sections, foreign body removal, etc.)
- Triage, stabilize, diagnose, and treat both medical and surgical cases
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members for effective case management
- Maintain detailed medical records and uphold Brown Veterinary’s compassionate, community-focused values
We’re Looking For
- DVM/VMD with active or eligible Georgia veterinary license
- Comfortable handling walk-ins, emergencies, and urgent surgical cases
- Experience with (or willingness to learn) goats, pigs, small ruminants, poultry, and exotics
- Team-player attitude with strong communication and decision-making skills
- Compassionate, level-headed clinician who thrives under pressure
