Florida Veterinary Group (FVG) is a privately owned and operated organization, managing two animal hospitals in the Ft. Myers/Naples area. Additionally, we are part of the Buffalo Veterinary Group, which is our extended family of 10 hospitals in Buffalo, NY. Within our internal network, our dedicated and compassionate doctors, board-certified specialists and support team members provide AAHA Accredited physical examinations, vaccines, laser, soft-tissue, orthopedic, spay and neuter surgical services, emergency and overnight intensive care services, in-house laboratory diagnostics and pharmacy, internal medicine services including advanced diagnostic procedures (Ultrasound, CT imaging, Echo & Endo), Arthroscopy, Neurology, Fluoroscopy, laser therapy, digital X-ray, MRI and boarding services.

Essential responsibilities:
The Associate Veterinarian’s primary job responsibility is to provide high quality patient care and outstanding client service. Veterinarians are responsible for providing outpatient services such as wellness care, diagnosis and treatment of sick patients, in patient hospitalization, case management and surgery. Veterinarians must be detail oriented, make good decisions, respond quickly and calmly to crises and maintain high standards of patient care. They need to communicate clearly with the other doctors, support staff and clients to ensure that patients receive the care that they need.
Salary:
$150,000- 180,000 per year (negotiable based on experience and credentials), plus additional incentives and no negative accruals

Job Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required; candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification
- Florida State License in good standing
- Experience and comfort with performing soft-tissue, surgical procedures preferred
