Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining press machines to shape materials. This position requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate press machines in a manufacturing setting.
- Load materials into press machines and ensure proper alignment and placement.
- Monitor machine operation to detect issues and report to management when necessary.
- Inspect finished parts for quality.
- Follow all safety protocols and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform any and all other duties deemed necessary by management.
Skills/Abilities
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous related experience preferred; however, on-the-job training is provided.
Physical Requirements:
- Physically able to operate stamping press.
- Able to bend or kneel frequently.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time.
