Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our dental office team. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our orthodontic office. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients in understanding their treatment plans and coordinating their dental care.
*REQUIRED: ONE YEAR dental office experience or TWO YEARS OF SALES experience
Full time: Monday-Thursday and half day Friday
Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm appointments for orthodontic treatments
- Explain treatment plans to patients, including procedures, costs, and insurance coverage
- Collect payments for services rendered
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with the orthodontic team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic administrative support role is preferred
- Proficient in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Knowledge of orthodontic terminology is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Current CPR and Dental Assistant License
