Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble scones with precision and creativity.
- Make sure each batch meets our quality standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks including mixing, baking, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work stations in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives, mixers, ovens, and other culinary tools.
- Support food production processes as needed.
- Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to health and safety standards to prevent contamination.
Requirements
- Proven experience in baking is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Kitchen experience including food preparation, catering, or restaurant work is advantageous.
- Passion for culinary arts with a focus on quality and creativity.
- Ability to preparing scones using pre-measured ingredients and production sheets
- Maintaining cleanliness of all baking areas— Cleaning work surfaces and dish areas after production is complete
- Monitoring bake times and quality
- Other duties as assigned
Pay: From $16.90 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
