Responsibilities
- Apply finishing techniques to concrete surfaces, including smoothing, troweling, and edging to achieve desired textures and finishes
- Operate hand tools and power tools such as trowels, screeds, floats, and mixers to prepare and finish concrete efficiently
- Install rebar and metal reinforcement according to schematics and blueprints to ensure structural integrity
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings for accurate placement of concrete elements
- Install all carpentry work properly and all formwork, framing, for all placement of concrete
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with operation of georgia buggy and or other machines to move concrete, mixing, and pouring processes on various projects including hardscape installations and restoration work
Qualifications
- Proven experience in concrete finishing, formwork, rebar installation, or related construction roles
- Strong mechanical knowledge of tools such as hand tools, power tools, mixers, and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and renovation techniques
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing
- Valid driver’s license to pull trailer with equipment
- Prior experience working on construction sites with safety-conscious practices
