TITLE: Shipping/Receiving Clerk
POSITION OBJECTIVE: To process timely pickups and deliveries for raw materials and finished goods.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experienced in scheduling freight trucks.
- Ability to process outbound paperwork.
- Ability to process inbound paperwork.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to use ERP and Microsoft systems.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate with customers to schedule order pickups.
- Schedule appointments with freight carriers for material deliveries.
- Work with drivers to ensure timely resolution of pickups.
- Print orders and prepare BOL and packing slip.
- Ensure picked orders are correct.
- Receive all incoming packages and deliveries.
- Prepare and verify daily transfer trucks.
- May perform other duties related to internal paperwork.
TRAINING:
- Must complete online and classroom training as required.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Must be able to walk through the warehouse as necessary.
