Job Title: Quality Control Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and ensuring that products meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements. Primary Objective:

Work to maintain the systems and processes that ensure all assets are tested, repaired, and maintained at the highest level of quality to ensure maximum utilization of all assets. This position reports to the Visuals Operations Manager..

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • QC of Lighting, Video, Audio, Special FX and Cable.
  • Performs testing and follows quality control processes on inbound equipment, inclusive of cleaning and inspection.
  • Power up, function, test, and power up full operational readiness.
  • Identify cosmetic damage, missing parts, firmware issues, or performance failures.
  • Ensure gear meets show ready standards before returning to inventory or prep.
  • Communicate status updates clearly.
  • Complete damage reports, repair tickets, and maintain accurate labeling.
  • Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Meet daily and weekly quotas.
  • Maintain highest level of quality care for all equipment.
  • Work on special projects based on company need.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of progressive experience servicing production and event lighting equipment, electronics, or similar devices including: Automated LED Fixtures, Lamp Fixtures, Speakers, and Power Distribution.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electronic equipment.
  • Understanding of signal flow, and electronic sensor systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and Google products, and R2 preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 to 100 lbs. repeatedly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
