Brown Christian Academy, providing high-level clerical, communication, and student

multiple priorities in a fast-paced school environment.
The ideal candidate will have prior school-based administrative experience, with a working
knowledge of Brightwheel or a similar school management system strongly preferred.

Administrative & Clerical Support
Front Office & Communication
High School diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2–3 years of administrative or school-based office experience preferred
Experience working in a school or educational setting strongly preferred
Experience with Brightwheel or similar school management software is highly preferred
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity
Strong customer-service orientation with families and staff
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines

Key Responsibilities (Job Functions)
Administrative & Clerical Support
- Provide comprehensive secretarial and clerical support for school operations, programs,
- Prepare, process, and maintain school correspondence, reports, records, and files with
- Compose and prepare routine correspondence, notices, forms, and internal
- Maintain efficient and organized record-keeping systems (digital and paper).
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and events; assist with preparation of agendas and
- Compile data and prepare administrative reports as requested by school leadership.
- Manage student records, enrollment documentation, attendance records, and related
- Utilize Brightwheel (or similar platforms) for:
- Attendance tracking
- Parent communications
- Student information updates
- Document distribution and acknowledgments
- Assist with onboarding families and staff to Brightwheel and other school systems as
Front Office & Communication
- Serve as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and callers—answering phones,
- Respond to routine inquiries from parents, staff, vendors, and community partners with
- Escalate concerns or issues appropriately to school leadership when needed.
- Support school-wide communication efforts in coordination with the Head of School.
- Attend staff meetings, administrative meetings, and trainings as required.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance job knowledge and
- Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and the mission and values of Brown Christian
- Perform other related duties as assigned in support of school operations.
