What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist Programmer position at Brown Jig Grinding Co?
We are looking for experienced machinists and grinders who can:
• Setup and run CNC machines independently (Haas experience preferred)
• Read prints and hold tight tolerances
• Perform setups, tooling changes, and offsets confidently
• Troubleshoot and solve problems on the floor
• Work in a fast-paced, high-precision environment
Shop Foreman opportunity available for candidates with leadership experience in scheduling, workflow, and production coordination.
WHAT WE DO:
• CNC Milling (Haas, multi-axis capability)
• CNC Jig Grinding – high precision, tight tolerance work
• CNC Wire EDM (Mitsubishi FA20 with 4-axis capability)
• Surface Grinding – precision wet grinding to extreme tolerances
• OD / ID Grinding – tight tolerance cylindrical work (.0002” capability)
• Engineering support with Mastercam CAD/CAM
• Full inspection and CMM verification
• Toolroom and production machining support
We handle everything from prototype work to production runs with extremely tight tolerances and demanding quality requirements.
