Brown Immigration Law is now accepting applications for a Marketing Specialist.  This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a variety of marketing, communications, and business development initiatives in a collaborative environment.

Brown Immigration Law focuses solely on delivering successful business immigration outcomes to a wide variety of startups and established businesses located in top global financial centers, including New York City and the Bay Area. Our approach is to make the complex, simple - by handling the details so our clients may realize their dreams.  This role is primarily tasked with planning, developing, and executing new marketing campaigns for the firm

 

The Marketing Specialist will develop strategic initiatives and create, implement, and execute marketing campaigns that align with firm goals. You will be responsible for market research and analysis, lead generation, client engagement, and development/maintenance of CRM system; as well as content strategy and execution including email campaigns and communications, and assisting with our website, social media, marketing collateral, and podcasts.

 

Responsibilities in this role include:

  • Create presentations for internal and external audiences  
  • Plan and manage social media strategy and content  
  • Design marketing graphics, collateral, and brand materials  
  • Maintain and optimize the content and marketing calendar  
  • Track, analyze, and report on digital marketing performance and SEO  
  • Manage and update website content and user experience  
  • Upload and organize marketing materials on the website  
  • Edit and distribute monthly newsletters  
  • Produce and edit weekly podcast and video content  
  • Coordinate photoshoots and creative vendors  
  • Plan and execute events, webinars, and firm programs  
  • Assist with RFPs, RFIs, and business development materials  
  • Lead weekly marketing meetings and follow up with the leadership team 
  • Manage SHRM account and professional memberships  
  • Design signage, ads, and print/digital marketing materials  
  • Support internal marketing (invitations, announcements, celebrations)  
  • Collaborate with leadership on new business opportunities  
  • Partner with attorneys on marketing and client development needs  
  • Research industries, clients, and business development targets  
  • Recommend sponsorships, events, and speaking opportunities  
  • Coordinate attorney participation in marketing events  
  • Document processes and identify ways to improve marketing ROI  
  • Participate in ongoing marketing and industry education (Attend LMA events) 
  • Monitor and audit attorney social media accounts; provide guidance on best practices 
  • Utilize company tools and data to support informed decision-making 

 

Qualifications:

Required

  • 3 years of experience in a marketing role (post-grad)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience managing social media accounts
  • Experience with editing and creating podcasts
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn, X, Google Analytics & Keywords
  • Highly dependable and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • A positive attitude, rivaled only by a passion for helping others

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, PR, Business Administration, or similar
  • Prior experience with Affinity Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and MailChimp a plus

 

Benefits and Compensation:

Salary: $68,000 – $74,000 adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors.


Eligible benefits include: annual bonus, 25 days paid time off, 401(k) plan, affordable health and vision plans, free dental, life, and disability coverages, and a health savings account.
