Responsibilities in this role:
- Develop an extensive understanding of our client base, industries served, and global mobility solutions
- Assist attorney’s in determining the optimal immigration strategy tailored for our clients’ needs
- Perform legal research and due diligence within the rapidly evolving immigration landscape
- Help draft all types of Nonimmigrant Visas and Permanent Residence Applications
- Maintain client files by tracking and renewing their status documents
Qualifications:
Required
- Enrolled in a Juris Doctor program with an Accredited University
- Must be entering your 3rd year of law school
- Strong written and oral communicator
- Excellent analytical, legal reasoning, and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented, results driven
- A positive outlook, rivaled only by a passion for helping others
Preferred
- Prior experience or demonstrated interest in immigration or business law
- Entrepreneurial spirit that resonates with our clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Compensation:
Hourly Pay: $17 - $20 adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors
This position is full-time for the summer and part-time employment throughout the school year (15 – 20 hours a week expected)
Law Clerks have the potential to start at the full-time Associate Attorney position post graduation
