Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in a customer service or role, delivering high quality service.
- State Insurance License or commitment to obtain your license upon hiring.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfort with sales processes and general understanding of sales technique.
- Proficiency with computer systems and willingness to learn new programs.
- Ability to handle multiple clients and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to attend ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Ability to arrive on time and be dependable for a 40-hour work week commitment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.

Responsibilities
- Serve the customer; provide service beyond the client's expectations.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist or direct clients to appropriate sources.
- Service existing clients: Efficiently navigate client billing inquiries to provide accurate information, and complete billing transactions with precision.
- Run activity reports as needed and update agency accounts accordingly.
- Review renewals as assigned and report findings. Review for accuracy, changes, and potential coverage and premium concerns. Refer areas of concern to an agent for additional follow-up.
- Assist with processing duties, as assigned by management.
- Practice effective and systematic documentation procedures that ensure the reliability, integrity and accuracy of Agency files.
- Maintain files with detail: who, what, where, when, why, how. Assess when to direct an insured to a licensed agent and identify the line of business in question.
- Management of agency database reports as assigned. Update agency files as needed and attach relevant materials from company sites.
- Maintain Records; create new client accounts with sufficient detail, use activities to track/record your progress on accounts.
- Prioritize accuracy of client contact information during every client interaction.
