At Brown Heights Properties, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional real estate services, tenant satisfaction, and property value optimization. We are looking for a dedicated and organized Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential/commercial portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tenant Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, handling inquiries, lease negotiations, renewals, and conflict resolution.
- Financial Oversight: Manage rent collection, track operating expenses, prepare monthly financial reports, and assist in creating annual property budgets.
- Property Maintenance: Coordinate routine property inspections, schedule maintenance and repairs with vendors, and ensure properties meet all safety and housing codes.
- Marketing & Leasing: Advertise vacant units, conduct property tours, screen prospective tenants, and manage the move-in and move-out processes.
- Team Leadership: Supervise on-site staff, including leasing agents and maintenance technicians.
- Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to local, state, and federal Fair Housing laws and property management regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Does not require experience but 1 years of experience in property management, real estate, or a related field would be helpful.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Skills: Strong proficiency in property management software APPFOLIO, excellent communication skills, and robust conflict resolution abilities. We are launching APPFOLIO currently.
- Certifications: Certified Property Manager (CPM) or similar credentials are a plus.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
