What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Team Lead position at Brown Group Companies?
The Warehouse Team Leader performs leadership duties to assist the Warehouse Manager in the implementation and supervision of all Warehouse employees. Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees. Pack and prepare orders, and maintain inventory levels.
Physical Demands:
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a repeated and prolonged basis
- Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a frequent basis.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of prior warehouse experience
- Must have ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
- Must have ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds frequently.
- Walking and standing on a frequent and possibly prolonged basis
- Must be able to bend, stoop, climb and balance on a regular basis
