The Network Operations Analyst provides daily network monitoring and incident response for approximately 65 global sites.
This role is responsible for proactively monitoring network and system health, troubleshooting and resolving connectivity and performance issues, and escalating incidents as needed to internal teams or external vendors. The specialist will assist with root cause analysis, maintain accurate network documentation, and support patching and infrastructure maintenance activities. This role will utilize tools such as SolarWinds, Zscaler, ThousandEyes, and Microsoft Defender to ensure operational visibility and performance. Collaboration with the NOC, SOC, and engineering teams is essential to ensure timely resolution of incidents and to support ongoing improvements in security, availability, and reliability across the network.
What You Can Expect
- Vendor and Customer Relations: Manage relationships with internal customers and external service providers, ensuring seamless collaboration and service delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, developing and implementing new operating procedures supporting our NOC.
- Technical Problem Solving: Assist in diagnosing and escalating complex network and infrastructure issues, working alongside engineers and vendor partners to support timely resolution and minimize service disruptions.
- Equipment Lifecycle Management: Equipment Lifecycle Management: Ensure proper management of equipment lifecycle, maintaining high standards and compliance.
What You Bring To The Table
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Networking, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience in network operations or infrastructure support.
- 1–3 years of experience in network operations or infrastructure support.
- Experience in creating technical documentation, process maps, and knowledge transfer documents.
- Advanced computer skills with current, or ability to quickly build, proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other software, as needed.
- Knowledge of network cabling, basic network troubleshooting, and installation of Cisco switches, routers, and access points.
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, MPLS, VPNs, SDWAN).
- Experience working with service management platforms (e.g., Ivanti).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences, handle challenging situations, and interact effectively with diverse client types, including business, technical, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a proven capacity to multitask, prioritize work, and operate as a self-starter in both independent and collaborative environments.
- Travel Requirement: Up to 10% travel is required.
