Responsible for recording incoming and outgoing materials and products, inspecting proper labeling, resolving inventory discrepancies, and monitoring reorders and restock requests.Conduct frequent cycle counts with blind counting.Daily - Auto generated cycle counts.Daily and consistent empty bin auditsDaily and consistent put away/replenishment audits.Daily and consistent receiving auditsDaily and consistent bin integrity audits5 or less counts (Pick bins with 5 or less items)Bulk counts (Previous night’s bulk picks)Daily and consistent Mark out adjustmentsDaily and consistent out of date adjustmentsLots approaching expiration.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office 365Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsPossess excellent personal organization skillsPossess the ability to work productively, efficiently and with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure while maintain attention to detail and qualityAbility to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, squat and stoop to accomplish the essential job functionsManual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.Ability to lift 60-80 pounds.Working Conditions:Normal for a distribution environment: outside-ambient temp, inside-dry cooler (34) degrees and inside-frozen (-20) degreesMachinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: Eye safety glasses, Hearing Protection, work boots and safety harness.Brown Foodservice, Inc.
