What You'll Do
In this role, you'll help keep our service department organized, our technicians equipped with the parts they need, and our customers informed.
- Service Coordination amp; Customer Support
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers needing equipment service or repairs
- Coordinate with mechanics and service leadership to schedule, track, and complete repair work.
- Prepare service estimates and communicate repair recommendations, costs, and timelines to customers.
- Manage service work orders from start to finish, ensuring accurate documentation of labor, parts, and repairs.
- Keep customers updated on repair progress and answer questions throughout the service process.
- Prepare customer invoices and assist with warranty repair documentation.
- Parts Ordering amp; Coordination
- Identify and order parts needed for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Work closely with mechanics and service leadership to ensure the correct parts are ordered and available when needed.
- Communicate with vendors regarding parts availability, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Track parts orders, follow up on backorders, and help minimize service delays.
- Maintain accurate parts records and ensure parts are properly assigned to service work orders.
- Assist with parts inventory organization and accuracy.

- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software systems
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Experience in service writing, parts ordering, inventory, or a related role preferred
- Familiarity with automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, or mechanical repair environments is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, is a plus
- A high school diploma or equivalent
