Reports To: School Administrator

Brown County Christian School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary Teacher to join our faculty for the current academic year. The ideal candidate will be a spiritually grounded Christian educator who is enthusiastic about teaching, building strong relationships with students, and integrating a biblical worldview into all aspects of instruction.

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons in Math & Science subject areas.
• Create a classroom culture of respect, excellence, and Christ-like character.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students.
• Integrate biblical principles and Christian values into daily instruction and classroom interactions.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress, attendance, and behavior. 
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school administration.
• Participate in faculty meetings, school functions, professional development, and spiritual enrichment opportunities.
• Integrate prayer, scripture, and Christian values into daily instruction and classroom activities.  Maintain classroom management strategies that align with the school's values and expectations.
• Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities.
• Uphold and model the mission, vision, and values of Brown County Christian School.

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to Christian education.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Education or a related field).
• Teaching certification (preferred but not required).
• Previous teaching experience in a secondary setting (preferred).
• Strong classroom management skills and a heart for discipleship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to integrate faith into teaching in a meaningful and age-appropriate way.
• Complete provided beginning of year CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must pass a background check and meet all state and school requirements.

• Starting Salary: $17/hour (commensurate with certification)
