POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and systems, primarily within our own facility. This includes reconditioning customer adhesive applicator equipment, preparing older units for resale, and performing routine maintenance on internal plant systems. This is a hands-on, proactive role requiring mechanical and electrical repair, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.

We are seeking to hire two individuals for this role; referrals from candidates are welcomed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Repair and recondition customer adhesive applicator equipment in-house.
• Refurbish older machinery for resale, ensuring full functionality and safety.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on plant production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize and minimize equipment downtime.
• Document maintenance work and inspections accurately.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Will consider stronger applicants with fewer years of experience, depending on training, internships, etc.
• Strong mechanical and electrical repair and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documents.
• Ability to understand and follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and safety protocols.
• Comfortable working in a plant setting and around industrial machinery.
• Strong sense of focus toward accomplishing priorities.
• Works well independently with direction and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
• Must possess the ability to work with and accept direction from management to achieve goals.

Salary Range:

$32 - $40/hour depending on experience and skills
