What are the responsibilities and job description for the HIV Primary Care Physician, Infectious Disease position at Broward Health?
Broward Health is the largest non-profit agency in Broward County serving special needs and high-risk women, infants, children and youth and is looking to employ a full-time, adult primary care physician dedicated to treating the special needs population. The Family Medicine Program offers primary and specialty care to women and youth living with HIV and their partners, as well as the special needs population. The program also provides HIV specialty care to pregnant women living with HIV. The program provides clients with family centered comprehensive care within a medical home environment as well access to on-site dental, nutrition, mental health, medical case management and pharmacy services.
There are two Clinics which provide primary care services: the Pediatric Primary Care Clinic and the Adult Clinic. Each of these provide family centered medical care as part of the medical home model practiced in all of our programs and practitioners provide patients with the best quality of care in manner which respects our family's cultural and linguistic diversity.
This full-time employed position is outpatient only, Monday through Friday and located in beautiful Ft. Lauderdale, just minutes from the beach. Candidate should be FL licensed, Board Eligible or Board Certified, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine MD or DO with HIV experience and certification A MUST.
