JOB SUMMARY:
Performs a variety of laboratory procedures which provide the Pathologists with the
material and data required to determine the functions of tissues and causes of disease
states. Follows established standards of practice to support optimal patient outcomes.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education (or equivalent years of experience):
Required for consideration: Associate degree, specialized training, OR current State of Florida education requirement for Histology Technologist. Any of these three must be specifically for Histology Technologist.
B. Experience (or equivalent education):
No Experience Required
C. Licensure
Required for consideration: Current or temporary Florida License for Histology Technologist.
