Summary:
Oversees the daily coordination of registration activities to assure high quality standards and effective departmental operations. Trains staff, maintains department schedule, and finds coverage for staffing shortages while supporting the organization's values of exceptional customer service.
Education:
Essential:
* High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
Essential:
* Two Years of related experience in healthcare registration. Working knowledge of Patient Registration or Patient accounting. Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Highly Preferred Skills:
* Front desk/ secretary/customer service skills
* Verification of patient demographics and insurance
* Obtaining prior auths
* Experience with EPIC highly preferred
* Scheduling
