POSITION TITLE: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
ABOUT THIS POSITION:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. The CFO will oversee the Finance and Managed Care Departments, working to ensure financial operations align with statutory regulations and industry best practices. This individual will play a pivotal role in strategic planning, financial reporting, budgeting, and optimizing reimbursement structures, contributing directly to the organization's growth and operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior management within a federally qualified community health center or similar healthcare setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of healthcare industry practices, compliance, and financial systems.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Exceptional knowledge of GAAP finance and accounting principles in both non-profit and for-profit settings.
- Advanced problem-solving, planning, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software, database management, spreadsheets, and word processing tools relevant to financial and operational functions.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local financial regulations, including purchasing, billing, and insurance.
PREFERED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in negotiating managed care contracts.
- Expertise in reimbursement structures and revenue cycle management.
