The BCBA Therapist is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, or other special needs. Working within the mission of our nonprofit organization, this role promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life through compassionate, evidence-based behavioral support services.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans based on data-driven analysis and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational policies, HIPAA, and ethical standards.
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with BACB, state, and agency regulations and best practices.
  • Support the nonprofit’s mission by engaging in community education, outreach, and advocacy for individuals with disabilities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support program goals.


Qualifications:


  • Education: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
  • Certification: Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience developing and supervising ABA programs preferred; nonprofit experience a plus.
