We are currently seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team in the Lafayette office. Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in all aspects of personal injury cases
- Manage and organize case files
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
- Prepare discovery requests and responses, letters, and requests for documents (including medical records)
- Schedule and coordinate depositions, mediations, court appearances, and client meetings
- Other relevant responsibilities, as necessary
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Basic accounting skills
- At least 5 years of personal injury secretarial or paralegal experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
- Passionate about helping others and dedicated to excellence
